GALLA

Hey peeps'!

How's you weekend so far? Mine is great!!! I'm attending at a sweing marathon this weekend, where I'm working at a dress for galla at my gymnasium.

It's turning out beautiful so far!

It's inspired by the british designer "Erdem", who make amazing creations. It's a dress from their fall collection 2008.

I'm in love with it! Seriously, I've dreamed of this dress in to months! I can't wait to wear it! My sewing teacher said it's turning out amazing as well, which is good. So far I've spend 12 hours on it, and there's still a way before the final result.

So very stoked!!!!

LIPS !!

Yummi lips!

The winter's on it's way, the season where the lips suffer because of the cold. There are some different way to avoid sore lips!

• Rub cinnamon on your lips to make them soft.

You can also scrup you lips to make them soft. here's the recipe:

1 spoon of olive oil

1 teaspoon of honey

2 teaspoons of white sugar

And a splash of Lemon juice

Mix the ingrediens. Use then your finger to put the honeymix on your lips.

You can also just buy some fabuous lip balms.

From left to right

Menthol lipbalm. It's amazing. Ecspecially when your lips are at its worst. It can fix even the sorest lips.

Victoria Secret red lipgloss. I'm not that good at lipstick, so it's nice to have a red and fabulous lipbalm, it's good for the lips as well.

Lancôme Juicy tubes. GREAT lipgloss! One I definitley can recommend!

Elisabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. The best Lip Balm I have ever had! It's a little expensive, but worth every penny!

The Body Shop Pasionberry lipbalm. So good! It smells nice as well :)

It's actually a funny story how I heard this song.
As a few know, I'm a big listener of the punk/rock band All time low. (Yeah I know, I do mostly listen to jazz, but I find this band really cool)
And the lead signer Alex Gaskarth did post a link similar to mine on twitter. And then I heard it. Amazing!

Right now I'm spending my evening cleaning my room from all the mess. Did just safe my signed Jamie Cullum poster, which'd fallen down of the wall. (behind my big bookshelf)

Gosh I miss the summer.. Autumn is too cold and rainy! The rescues- Can't stand the rain GREAT SONG. Describes what I feel about rain perfectly!

My day, And Italy

Hi again!

Just got home from school, and guess what? It was raining!! Horrible, and a typical weather in Denmark...

So you can say I'm kind of blue because of that, haha.

Lately the days have been insanely busy, so right now I'm enjoying laying in my bed, listening to Jamie Cullum, drinkin tea, and dreaming of the next upcoming holiday!

Right now I'm checking out a website, recommended by my favorite designer, where you can buy sweet accessories for only 30$. Very nice!

But I need to figure out wether it's for europeans as it is for americans. Otherwise it would be stupid if I posted it.

So that's one of the things I'm working on.

Then theres the "full time student" thing, that I need to use some time on as well.:)

And last but not least, music and design!

I was offered to start getting piano or extra theory lessons in music, and I'm very tempted to say "yes".

BUT!

I absolutely don't have any free spaces in my schedule. So I hope it will become a possibility somehow, since I'd die if I could get better on a piano! IT would be amazing!

Well my mom and two siblings were in Italy this fall, and took some great pics for mw to post on the blog;)

I'll post the "culture" part as soon as possible, but I thought you should see the photos first.

New creations, part two

Hey Guys! :)

I'm finally at home, and I'm done with my "to-do" list. So now it's time for a proper blog post!
As I wrote earlier, I'll be finishing up a creation in the beginning of November, which is so very ecxiting! I won't tell you what it is yet, but I can give you a hint. It's warm, and can be worn with any outfit!

I basically wanted to talk about my next upcoming creation for December then. I'd personally say it's a must have for this winter, since it's so chique and fierce.

MUST HAVE THIS WINTER IS...

The Leather skirt! I find them very suitable and hot! The picture above is from the amazing Alexander Wangs collection. I'm in love with it!
I'm working on a design for my own skirt you see, and I'm so ecxited to see the final results! And to wear it as well! Yay :)

This is my sketch for my own. IT might change during the whole process, but I actually like it already. I find it fierce, haha ;)
It will of course be black, with some gold/silver zippers on it. And I'll suppose I'll put cotton or wool on the inside so I can stay warm during the winter.

New creation

Hi guys!
Another blog from school, and another busy day! I'll tell you about the creations in a minute. Just my horrible day at school so far.
First of all, I got injured when I rode my bike to school, because there was ice on the road! My left hip hurts so badly! I can barely walk!
And even better, when I got injured, so did my computer. And I don't know how long it's gonna live. Even worse.

So my day has been horrible, hopefully yours haven't been as worse as mine.
Luckily the sun is shining!

Now to some happy news, I'll be "releasing" a new creation in the beginning of November. So ecxited!!!! It's so fierce.
I do already have two new projects on the way. I'll tell you about them later on :)

Probably won't be able to blog later on, but I'll do my very best!

1st day at school after holiday

I can't get used to the fact that my holiday is over! Its so hard to get back in buisness..
I've a headache because I've used my head so much!

I might not have the time to post a blog later, since i'm so busy! I have a "Nice" Danish essay, evigt i'll have to finish today, Then I have to play on my violin, relax, and then go to sewing class!
Stressed, but ecxited! (accept about that Danish essay. Gee)

I LOVE SUNDAY

True indeed!

I just had the most magnificent brunch today with good company, always nice! I'm going to spend the rest of my sunday in my room: Reading, playing the violin, listening to music, and doing my homework...
I think I need a holiday after this holiday, I'm so exhausted. But it was all worth it!

I'm looking forward to tomorrow! I'm going to sewing class, and chillin' with all the sweet people. Really nice!

It's a song by Jamie Cullum of course. He'll be preforming in Berlin very soon, and I won't be able to hear it! What a shame!

PICTURES FROM BERLIN

Hi world!
I'm back, with a now perfect wi-fi! Soo blessed. Since it's working againg it's time to post some pictures from my fabulous holiday to Berlin.

Shopping center "galeria kaufhof", where there's alot of sweet things!

Potsdamer platz, feels like beeing in a bond movie. Great plaze, lots of expensive cars etc. Very sci fi. Nice to see it again though.

The grave of the amazing Malene Dietrich. If anyone of you ever will go there, look out for an Italian restaurant very near named "Marios". Their food is delicious, and the atmosphere amazing! Even better, there're no tourists out there, at all!

My Swiss Swatch watch bought in a special store on Rosenthaler Str. They didn't have it in Ka De We. A shame!!! So I found it somewhere else. Love it!

Two pictures from Bebelplatz on museums insel. on 1.st picture you'll se a place which used to be a library, which now is empty. The very short story is, during the second worldwar Hitler did burn a lot of books of, like a million actually. And one of the places where the books was burned of where at Bebelplatz.

My favorit part of Berlin! Prenzlauer Alle. There are so many amazing stores! If you'll ever go there, look for "eicie". They take gorgeous pictures of Berlin, and frames it for you in any given size. I'll try to find the adress for it so you'll have a chance to look at it :)!

Me at starbucks, with a nice chai latté, and my petrol turtleneck I bought in Esprit. Love it.

Best cafe in the world, accept from "memory cafe" (google it!). That starbucks was a little too touristet for me. I like the private insider places, like "memory". That's one of the reasons why I love to walk around in Berlin. You'll get to see all the good places, that tourist can't find!

Finally! I just returnes home after ny trip to BERLIN <3 it was amazing, and I've seen so Manu nice things I want to write about!
First of all, if Any træuld miatakes occures, its because i'm blogging from ny iPhone. The wi fi at home is so bad these days! ARGH! That also means that i cant be posting Any pics either :(
So i'll just talk a little about this seasons footwear tendens. It's flat shoes! Thank god!
I read it in the newspaper the other day, and its a fact that the only kind of shoes worn on the catwalk is without a Heel :)
"tamaris" and "dr. Martin" make some amazing flat shoes! I just bought a blue tamaris pair in BERLIN, so fierce, and amazing to west!
So slip the heels accept from parties, it's bedt for the feet anyway:)

Update from Berlin!

Wassup you guys!
First update from Berlin. What a crazy holiday it have been!
Right now I'm chillin' at starbucks unter "fernseheturm" in Berlin. I'm having a sweet cup of chai latté, and basically just enjoying the whole atmosphere here.
Let me tell you what happened so far.
DAY 1
We woke up very tired, and ate breakfast at 12 AM. It's was a rough trip to the apartment in the middle of the night, but we magaged to get there at 3AM. That's why the breakfast was so bloody late!
Later we went to galleria kaufhof to use some money! I forgot how amazing it was! Loads of nice shops.
A cute guy even talked to me "shöne mütze die Dame", "nice hat madam". I was amused, but also slightly frightned, since he after all was a stranger to me.

DAY 2
status, sunday, every store closed! So we decided to walk around in Berlin to check out wether there was some nice shops on the streets.
I've been to Berlin before, and I basically wouldn't like to go to Ka De We again. I admit it's nice, but there are so many other cool stores to check out!
If you ever go to Berlin, you should check out Rosenthaler Str. instead! Reason 1. There's a jazzclub, which we are checking out today maybe.
Reason 2. There's a Swatch shop with the coolest watches ever! It's so much better than the designer watches the fashion designers make.
I'll upload a picture as soon as I bought it!
They'll propbably be "so last season" very soon. Stay to the classic brands.
Rolex if you can afford it, otherwise, go for nixon or swatch!
The best for last. there's the coolest vintage shoeshop on Rosenthaler str. 23 !! Their shoes are fierce! I'm about to buy a pair before we drive back to Denmark.

DAY 3
And now I'm sitting in the starbucks as I told before. It's so hot! I think I'll end up shopping today, and having some fun with my brother! I wrote to a german blogger asking him wether he know some cool places I had to see. But he hasen't answered. So dissapointing!

Well that was the "daily update". I would have posted some cool pictures, but the wi-fi is soo bad! I'm simply unable to do it here.
So, picutres will come later, so I'll write the text for it when I get some better wi-fi.

Until now I've bought one thing. It's hard to be a full time student! haha. I guess I have to design it myself then..
I bought the most amaing petrol turtleneck from Esprit. Love the colour, and a turtleneck is great for us people who have small jaws. Mine's getting fixed after christmas. I'm ecxited. It's annoying being unable to eat sausages in a pretty way..If that even is possible.

A blog before takeoff

Hi world!

There's only a few hours before takeoff to Berlin. So ecxited to see that amazing capital again!
My room is a horrible mess, and the floor is impossible to see for all the clothes which is "decorating" it so beautiful! haha.

Well lately I've been thinking about an important topic. At least I think it's important.
Because what does it mean to be perfect? And is it even possible? It has been on my mind in a while, actually since I began blogging.
I honestly don't know why, but I think it's because it's a very new thing to me, and I always want to be good at new things.
So can you be a perfect blogger? I think not. There doesen't exsist bloggers who're perfect, because no one knows how to be perfect.
I believe a blogger in fashion (for example) is good if he or she have some magnificent ideas, and knows how to be creative all the time. I also believe a good fashion blogger should have their own opinions, and point of views of what they believe is fahionable, EVEN THOUGH it aint on the catwalk this season!

• So to me a good blogger would be a person who have a constant pursuit to be the best, but also a person who have a passion of what they do, because only then will you be capable of inspiring others.

I'm not saying I'm a perfect blogger, and neither am I saying that my idea of fashion is the only right idea, but I do believe and passion in what I blog about, and therefore do I think I'm a good blogger.
And when you love something and have such huge passion for it (mine is music and fashion) it will shine through what you're writing, and make it interesting and very personal to other people.
I'm not perfect, but I have a pursuit to be the best, and to reach out to people and inspire them.

I hope people read my blog because they find what I write interesting, and that they believe I'm good at what I blog about.

So perfection do not exist, but the pursuit of it does.

That's my opinion, think wether your own would be different.

Hopefully the next blog will come up tomorrow if I find some wi-fi.

Swanlake- plot summary

SWAN LAKE

Tchaikovsky’s first ballet, Swan Lake is considered by many to be one of the greatest classical ballets of all time. Its romance and beauty has allowed the classic ballet to mesmorize audiences for more than 100 years.

Plot Summary of Swan Lake:

While hunting, Prince Siegfried sees an amazing swan. As he takes aim to shoot, the swan turns into a beautiful woman. The woman, Odette, tells the prince that she is a princess who has come under the spell of an evil sorcerer. During the day she must be a swan and swim in a lake of tears. At night she is allowed to be a human again. The spell can only be broken if a a virgin prince swears eternal infidelity to her. She tells Prince Siegfried, who happens to be a virgin prince, that if he refuses her she must remain a swan forever.

Prince Siegfried falls madly in love with Odette. However, through a spell by the evil sorcerer, he accidentally proposes to another woman at a party, believing that the woman is really Odette. Princess Odette feels doomed. She threatens to kill herself and throws herself into the lake. The Prince feels terribly sorry and throws himself into the lake with her. In an incredibly touching moment, the two are transformed into lovers in the afterlife.

Interesting Facts About Swan Lake:

Although Swan Lake was Tchaikovsky's first ballet score, the first production in Moscow wasn't well-received. Although several versions exist, most ballet companies stage the ballet according to the choreography of Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov for their St. Petersburg performance of 1895. The first American production was performed by the San Francisco Ballet. Swan Lake is traditionally presented in four acts.

The Autumn holiday

Finally! The holiday is near!
I really need it! I've been so stressed lately, and it's all caused by a school project called "AT". We were supposed to compose a great piece of music, which is great, accept from the program we was told to use.
"Audacity" I belive it was the name. It managed to ruin my entire week, because it constantley was causing trubles by deleting our project!!
It might be free, but it's a load of rubbish! Invest in a good recording program insted. That's my advise to you.
Well enough about my horrible week..

What are you guys up to in the holiday?
I'm going to Berlin, and I thought that I should give you an update about that..
You see. We're going to live in a friends apartment, which is great! But the issue is, that the apartment don't have any wi-fi.

And that sucks to be honest!

It means that I can't blog while I'm in Berlin! (so sorry!)  I'll do my very best to find a net cafe or go to starbuck, so I can blog from Berlin ;)
Otherwise I'll be writing everything down on a paper, and then post it as soon as I get back to Denmark!
I'll be gone in seven days, (from friday to friday)

Below is a list of what you can look forward to read in seven days! :)

• The "Swanlake" ballet, by the great composer Tjajkovskij. (I'll be writing about the plot later today)I'm going to see the ballet in the opera of Berlin. Looking forward to it!

A friend of mine told me that ecspecially the german ballet should be stunning and fantastic! So stoked to see it in person!

• Then I'll go shopping (of course, Berlin is well known for all it's vintage!)
• See "das museum insel" again :)!

And a bunch of other stuff, which will be a suprise untill I get back!

A fragrance for the winter..

Hello ladies :)
Don't we all want to have an amazing fragrance for the winter?
All the different clothing lines and designers have all made some new fragrances, which is great, but I do still have the same favourite fragrances as I had the last season.

I have a weakness for every fragrance Juicy Couture makes!
They do have an amazing scent, and the whole design of their "bottles" are soooo pretty!

They've actually made a new fragrance, which I so need to own!!!!

It might be one of the more expensive fragrances, but it's worth every penny!

New store!!!

I've been waiting for this in a long time, since Monki openened. Yes that's right, a new store is coming to Copenhagen in November, and it's gonna be big!
The 4th of November do Abercrombie and Fitch open a store in Copenhagen!
It will be on Købmagergade 11 at 10am (4th of november)

I believe it's a little bit like the american store "forever21" and "American eagle outfitters".
They have a lot of sweet things, to an acceptable price!!

MUST HAVE!!!!

This winters must have!!!
I know I've already blogged today, but..
I just had to tell you what I believe is this winters must have..
I just love love, love, love Mulberry so much! And ecspecially their lovely gloves!
In my opinion, this winter is all about the gloves! It keeps you fingers warm, and is just a MUST HAVE if you want a über fierce look for this winter.
So gloves is a good investment for your closet girls,I'm serious!

My design

Yes now it's time for my first creation on this blog! :)
I'm so ecxited to show it to you guys! It's something simple, but yet still difficult to make.
It's a pair of cowboy jeans, my first "homemade" pair actually.

Again the pictures aren't that good, but they're high waisted, which means it would match perfectly with a puffy chiffon shirt, and some cool rings for the acsessories for the outfit.
There's a zipper in the left side of them, so I'm able to get into them.
And to finish the look you can wear some sweet pumps, which would look gorgerous on anyone :)
Personally I'm in love with the 10-12cm high heels. My legs look absolutely amazing in them, haha ;)
Again, a tres chique look to inspire you amazing girls out there!

My sunday outfit

What to wear on a sunday?

Well it's hard to say, it do depends on what you're up for today.
Personally I'd go for something casual, but still chik and high fashion.
You never know who you'd meet today.
A tip would be investing in a nice bag, since it can turn a bit boring look into something fabulous.

I'm personally in love with the british bag designer Angel Jackson.
I believe she'd won a prize actually, which is totally understandable, I mean, look at them! They're über fierce!

A "late at night blog"

Goodevening, or goodnight?

It of course do depend on which side on the earth you're on.

So, this is my first english blog! (YAY)

It's almost 10pm here in Denmark, and I'm not at a party.. :(

I should have been, but I got ill, and had to cancel! So bad!

Well enough about me! Back to the blog!
I just thought I would give you an update about what there's going to happend here. First of all, this blog going to be about my passions and what I love.

So the two most mentioned things on this blog will be about fashion and music.
Yes I'm a fashionista, but it's not all about the exspensive brands at all. It's mostly vintage, and what I think there's high fashion and suitable, mixed with what the "big fish" puts on the catwalk!

I do also design and sew my own clothes, so you'll also get some pictures of my own creations!
I'll do my very best to finish one creation per month, but I can't garantee that I can stay true to that every month, which is sad!
My favourite designers are Christian Siriano and was the legendary Alexander Mcqueen, who sadly have passed away! ;( RIP

And of course, THE MUSIC!
Like any other teenager, I'm crazy about music! I ecspecially have a weakness for jazz. I listen to it 24/7, and I'm not leaving my home without my Iphone, which contains my entire music library!
There are many great muscisians, but my favorite artist is the british jazz muscisian Jamie Cullum, which probably also will be mentioned on the blog once in a while.

• I do also play the violin, which I've done in 6 years now. It's a very important part of my life, and one of the reasons why classic music mean the world to me.
• There's also going to be some "culture" blogs when I have the time! I love culture, and I love to read and explore new things!- So that's something I'll write about as well!

Then there'll be alot of other things, that I'm unable to categorize in these boxes :)-That's life!

Ud over at være en fantastisk jazz-musiker, mener jeg at Jamie Cullum har god stil.
punkt et. Han er ejer af nogle helt fantastiske blazere (dem som har set ham til koncerter og andet ved hvad jeg snakker om) og nogle fede t-shirt med print.

Hvad angår blazere har jeg selv købt en helt og adeles fantastisk tre-kvart blazer fra Calvin Klein som jeg er helt vildt forelsket i!

Igen, vigtig genstand i ens skab piger, man kan aldrig få for mange af dem!

Hvis det ikke lige er "mærke blazere" man er ude efter, findes der mange andre steder man kan få fat i nogle fede nogle.

Nu hvor vi nærmer os vinteren mener jeg at man kan købe nogle uldblazere/jakker så man stadig kan være smart og chik trods kulden :)

H&M har nogle gange nogle über skønne, til 60-150.- pr stk.

Only har også nogle vildt dejlige blazere til en rimelig pris!

Striktrøjer til den kolde vinter!

Så er den kolde vinter påvej, hvilket betyder at det nu er tid til at kravle ned i en lækker sweater for at holde varmen! Strik er super moderne, og kan holde en varm uanset hvad!

Strik er utrolig lækkert! Har selv en farmor som er tosset med strikkeriet, så hun har lavet nogle lækre sager til mig!

Tilføj nogle fede smykker, bælte eller et lækkert pashmina tørklæde for at pifte looket lidt.
