4000 hits!!!!

THATS AMAZING!
It's 20:36pm here in Denmark. And it's now official! I've reached 4000 views on my blog at only two months. It's so great! Can't believe it's happening!
I'm just so thankful that you like my blog, and like to read what I write !

It gives me such a boost, to keep blogging out in the future! I want to be something in fashion so badly, so the "dream" is to get noticed by this blog.

New earrings DIY

Another blogpost, yeah I now I'm very productive lately.. :)

It's is a VERY simple project, but I just love these feathers so much!!! I had to had some as earrings! Maybe I should make a feather dress as well? Wauw you're really hearing about all the ideas I have going in my head! I just need the money, and the time for all of it!!!

Maybe I should but "more time in the week" on my wishlist for christmas!

DIY -competition? yes or no?

First of all, a new creation is done!

A vest, just the way I like it! I haven't done a shoot of it, since I sew it in A SIZE 38, which is a size to big for me. But I'm basically trying to practice, since I'll be sewing other sizes than my own (36).

-Btw I've almost reached 4000hits on this blog during two months! That's amazing! I'll blog a post about that later on;)

I just love it!!! Haute couture is amazing! I haven't made a dress in that paticular genre yet, so I thought I should give it a try!

It will be somthing like this. The only difference is that I've added some of my own details to it.
There will be much more fabric drapings, and just more fabric indeed!:)

It will be a dress for Female Courage Foundation.

Well lately I've been thinking about a "name" for my own brand. And I came up with the "pomme Grenade".
And why? Well, I love the fruit . On the same time, it's a sweet fruit, which taste so nice, and on the same time it symbolises something edgy and rough, which I find very cool!

DID YOU WATCH THE FINAL OF DENMARKS NEXT TOPMPODEL LAST NIGHT?
Well I did, and wauw! Congratiolations to the winner Caroline! She was absolutely the best! And so beautiful as well. She definitly did deserve it!

Otherwise this Thursday has been very boring though. I got two extra assignments in school today. I knoe I'm complaining, but I just need to get used to the extra pile of homework. I <3 the gymnasium..
The extra assignments resulted in me cancelling my trip to the fabric store for the new dress. I'll have to wait  untill next thursday.
Then I'll blog a picture of the fabrics as soon as I've bought them!
Hopefully there'll be some time for fashion in the weekend. haha.

Well got to go back to the homework!

Weekly update!

Hi!

So today it's wednesday, and so many things have happened. So I thought I'd do an update for you!
First of all, I'll go buy the fabric for mig next dress this friday! I finished the sketches for it today, with accessories as well. I'm so ecxited! I hope I can find the perfect fabric in the shop.
I can picture the dress in my mind, with all the fabric I need. But I don't know wether they have it or not..
The dress do actually remind me of the sixties, whoch is a good thing!
-You might ask :"Why another dress?". Well good question;) And can't tell you the whole part of the story yet, but I was asked to design a dress and sew it, so that's what I'm doing!

I just returned from zumba class an hour ago, it's super fun, and a great way to get some exersize:)

As you might have noticed, the post has been a little "less fashion" and more "music/thoughts/designs etc." there's just been a biologic assignment which I need to use some time on;) It's really not my favourite subject.. But that's what it is!

And I'm really in the christmasmood today. I woke up this morning, and saw there wa snow outside my window. AMAZING! But awful as well, since I have to ride my bike in the weather. That was so cold!
I'll finish this post with a song I danced to at zumba class today;)

Daily post!!

Hi guys :) This will be a little random post, since I'm in a hurry to sewing class.. So I just wanted to write about an interesting topig, or a myth.
"Black makes you look more fit and slim". That's not true actually. You might ask why, which is totally understandable!
I find black very nice, but it's a very dark and heavy colour, which will hide the body structure because it's "absorbing" the light. It will not make you look more fit;)
I was a little unsure about that myth as well, untill I saw a program which explained why you shouldn't wear black clothes from "head to toe".

It gave an example, by showing four boxes in different colours, black, red, white, blue, while people afterwards should say which box the thought was the heaviest.
And they all said black.
So black is nice for a look, in small doses. Otherwise you'll turn out very dark and "heavy" as I explained before:)

A little myth breaker today! Wonder what it'll be tomorrow?

Sunday/DIY/music

Wauw this weekend has been amazing!
I've been to the most amazing prom party, managed to do all my homework, do sketches for new DIY ideas.
And time to whatch some fashion television, read costume and elle. Basically, busy! .
So now I'm just enjoying my sunday, drinking tea, finishing the last of my homework, and cleaning my messy room.
So I found a purse/clutch in my closet, which I've made, and took some pictures of that to make this post a little ecxiting to read.

Well the clutch/purse is a little Christian Siriano inspired, since I'm as addicted to ruffles as he is!!

Light or dark?

Makeup for prom? hmm..

I thought I'd make  a brown eyeshadow, with some nuances (sorry for the bad camera, there's different brown coulors on my eyes)

My friend J told me brown would be amazing to a purple dress, so I thought it would be a good idea to listen to her:)

Prom and x-mas

HI GUYS!

So prom is getting closer and closer for every day. I did my mask today, which I'm supposed to wear on the "big event" ;)
It's very simple though, since my dress is so full of details. (Shoot of the dress will be on the blog on saturday!)

Haha the mask is way to big, but I find it pretty though;)

These days I'm in the christmas mood. I'm actually listening to christmas music right now!!
Jamie Cullums version of "let it snow". It's litterally "killed me" to see he preformed with dr's entertainments orchestera. That means he preformed in Denmark, and that I missed that event. Damn!

What a wonderful day today!

Two days until weekend, and three days until prom night!
I'm off to school in a minute, but I just wanted to make a short blogpost about something, the layout.
Many of you might know how it works, while others don't. I've been asked why there are pictures to the right side of the blog post for example.
So This is a "layout explanation".
Well basically it's very easy, I write blog post, and you guys read them:)
The pictures to the right side of the blog are some sort of "categories". If you click on one of the pictures, all the blogpost "related" to that category will pop up.

In the buttom of every blogpost is there a box saying "reaktioner". It's "reactions" in english, where you can tell me your reaction of this blogpost is "interessant/interesting" "sjovt/fun" or "cool/cool".
Then you can post comments as well, but only if you have  a google conti.

I LOVE CHANEL PT 2

So as I wrote earlier, I'm in love with chanel, and their nailpolish as well.
This year vernis/nude coulors are very in, I have the Allegoria vernis coulor, which is a very light coulor. It's matches everything, and it stays on the nails in many days, which means it's worth every penny!!

So nice.

In the mind of me...

Hi everyone!

So I got inspired by a friend of mine, to do a Q&A. It's a good idea because you'll get this "insider" knowing of me.

Name?. Sara Sofie, my surname is anomynous.
What do you do for a living? Well I'm a "fulltime student" on a gymnasium where I live. I'm a very creative person, so I decided to study on the artist line.
You're obviously a passionate person when it comes to design and sewing, how long have you been doing that? Well, I've always had this dream being a designer. I've always read fashion magazines, and drawed design sketches actually. The first time I sat by a sewing machine was at my grandmoms place. I guess I was 7 or 8 years old. I sew her shirts and other stuff together. It looked hideous, since I didn't have any idea about how the machine worked. So I went to sewing class in the age of 13, and have been doing it ever since. (that'll be three years)
What do you do in you sparetime? Well design and sewing takes alot of my time actually, but I do also play the violin, which I'd done for 6 years now. Tume goes so fast. I do also dance "Zumba", but it's not as serious as design and music is to me.
Do you have any favourtie designers?Yes! The american project catwalk winner Christian Siriano is amazing. I love the way he can make drama look trés chique and feminim, even though there's alot of fabric!
I do also love Alexander Mcqueen (may he rest in peace). He was amazing. The greatest designer of all time. And then there's Coco Chanel, for the feminim designs, and fantastic makeup! (may she restg in peace as well)
Which designer do you remind most of? That's a good question actually. I haven't found my own signature yet, it's difficult. But I have a weakness for many details,(that's what counts) and simplicity. BUT I do also think drama is importent as well. So I'd say Christian Siriano. Design needs to be fun as well, and suit people. I think he can manage to do that.
Music? I love Jamie Cullum. He's amazing, and talented at what he does. He's amazing live as well, which definitly is a plus! I like Norah Jones as well, and when I need a day with rock, I go for "All Time Low".
Which person in the design world would you like to meet? Isn't it obvious? No I'd really like to meet Christian Siriano, and Uffe Buchard, because I think they have an amazing idea of design and what there's fashionable.
What is your biggest dream right now? To get into Copenhagen fashion week, to attend at the insider parties, yeah and to meet the great persons above;)
Last question, what do you always keep in your bag?

Soo. I went shopping today, and I bought this gorgerous 4 eyepalet eyueshadow from Chanel.
I have a weeknes for their eye shadows, and this one definitly caught my attention!
It's called "Quadra eye shadow". Absolutely amazing. I'll do a look for you very soon, so you can see what it looks like when it's "on".

Hej alle sammen!!!
Tid til et dansk blog indlæg, da jeg blogger fra min iPhone. Ja den er god nok, mit internet er nede -.-'. Sådan noget sker bare altid for mig! Pyt med det. Idag er det min søsters fødselsdag, så lader op til en super fed aften i fest og farver sammen med hende ìg familien:)! Beklager at jeg ikke fik blogget igår, jeg var bare så opsat på at kjolen skulle være færdig til galla, så syede på den i går aftes. Har snakket med min fotograf:) vi laver et prom shoot på fredag/lørdag, og så skulle billederne gerne ligge på min blog derefter! Sindssygt dejligt! Har brugt det meste af min weekend på at blive inspireret til mit næste design projekt. Er ret spændt på det hele. Er fristet til at lave noget svært, som vil pryde min gaderobe!
